The Maxi is our most versatile multi-purpose taxi. All vehicles in the Maxi fleet are wheelchair accessible and carry up to 10 passengers – great for groups and if you need a little extra space.

Mobility Aid Requirements

The average space for wheelchairs and mobility scooters in Maxi Cabs is usually 130cm by 80cm, with a door height of 140cm. The following measurements provide a guide:

Maximum width of mobility aid – 75cm
Maximum height of mobility aid – 130cm
Maximum combined weight of mobility aid and operator – 300kg

The PPT service is a low-cost hail and ride service that helps connect residents to their local transport hub. This service is different from Council Cabs, but it’s still offered in the Brisbane City Council. For more information, Click Here

DVA Transport

The Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) provides a pre-booked taxi to transport you to and from your home to approved treatment locations.

If you hold a DVA Gold or White Card you are entitled to receive assistance with your travelling expenses when travelling to and from treatment.

Does your business need a Taxi Butler?

Simply click the button on the Taxi Butler and your cab is on it’s way. The display will show that a taxi has been requested and give you live updates on arrival time.

The taxi butler makes ordering a taxi smooth and easy for both your staff and your customers.
