Feb/Mar 2005 - Black & White Cabs Drivers Choose Rep on Metro Taxi Council

Kevin Adams has just been voted in as the Driver Representative for Black & White Cabs on the Metro Taxi Council.  Kevin was successful following a process where all B&W drivers had the opportunity to nominate for the position and then be voted on by their fellow drivers.

The TCQ believes the timing is right to include driver representation onto the metro committee.  After all this is the committee that attends to operational matters such as ranks, yellow lines and Brisbane airport issues.  Kevin has a long history with Black & White Cabs and will be an asset to the Council and to his fellow drivers.

Should any of our drivers have an issue that they want Kevin to raise on their behalf, be sure to “stop and have a chat with him” at your next chance.

Black & White Cabs General Manager, John Tighe, said he was happy with the process adopted by the company to select our Driver Rep and thanked those who took part in the process.
