Jun/Jul 2005 - Black & White Cabs & Toyota Australia Forge New Links Black & White Cabs Managing Director, Greg Webb, has announced details of a new partnership between our company & Toyota Australia, through the well known and widely respected Toyota dealership of Oldmac Toyota. The arrangement now sees Black & White Cabs operators with an opportunity to purchase new Toyota vehicles for use as cabs at prices equal to or better than any other previous offers available. In particular operators can purchase Toyota Avalon Taxi Pack & Altise models with LPG specific engines at prices significantly below current retail prices. Taxi Pack inclusions are: -
Mr Webb said that Black & White Cabs would endeavour to always have a range of vehicles in stock, enabling our taxi operators to test drive the product before purchase. Mr Webb also said "this is an exciting opportunity for our taxi operators to select a vehicle that is already proving to be a success in the Southern States, delivering savings to taxi operators and enabling them to purchase a brand new cab at greatly reduced prices." "This opportunity extends the service already offered to our taxi operators where we sell ex-fleet and government late model Falcon sedans and wagons and Fairlanes." "In keeping with our recently developed Queensland Reds association, our contact person at Oldmac is Anthony Herbert who played 68 matches for the Reds and also played in 10 tests for Australia. Anthony toured with the successful 1991 World Cup winning Wallabies." Oldmac Toyota have offered immediate same day service to any Black & White Cabs operator for their Toyota purchased through the scheme.
